Norway's Petroleum & Energy Minister Terje Soviknes is optimistic that supermajors such as Total and ExxonMobil may reverse moves to scale back their activities in Norway once the industry's cash-crunch eases, writes Ole Ketil Helgesen.
“Both Total and ExxonMobil still have significant production in Norway as partners in production licences. We would of course like to see them more active, but there is reason to believe that this can change,” Soviknes told Upstream.
