Norway's Petroleum & Energy Minister Terje Soviknes argues it is "ridiculous" to debate whether oil and gas production is and will be profitable for the country.
“Any talk about stranded assets in the Barents Sea is nonsense," Soviknes told Upstream.
"The Johan Castberg field will be profitable at an oil price of $30, even though it is far from shore without any existing infrastructure," he said.
