Norway's Equinor is assessing its options for contracting a floating production, storage and offloading vessel to develop its giant Pao de Acucar pre-salt find in the Campos basin off Brazil, writes Fabio Palmigiani.
A potential contract would mean a third FPSO producing from pre-salt reservoirs for Equinor in Brazil following the two Carcara units. However, given the complexities of Pao de Acucar, the company has yet to set a date to begin output.
