US resource assessment specialist DeGolyer & MacNaughton (D&M) is working with Libya’s state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC) on how best to exploit untapped oil and gas assets in the North African nation, writes Iain Esau.

Late last week in Tunis, NOC’s chairman Mustafa Sanalla met John Wallace, chief executive of D&M, to discuss how the two organisations could co-operate in partnership with Zallaf Oil & Gas, the state player’s 100%-owned subsidiary.
