Srak is looking to drill three more exploration wells and shoot 3600 square kilometres of 3D seismic and 3000 kilometres of 2D seismic.
It will also submit an appraisal plan to the Saudi government for the Kidan area, where the joint venture has tested sour gas.
Srak drilled seven wells in the first phase, which ended in May.
The first campaign failed to find quantities of gas that could immediately be identified as commercial, but Srak said last year it had tested “promising quantities of gas and liquids” in the Kidan portion of the concession area.
