The extension is expected to contribute US$5.7 million in annual cash flow, and the FSO is currently in Singapore for upgrades, added Teekay.
The FSO has been operating on the Stag field, operated by US independent Apache, for about 16 years.
Apache has been working for several years on infill opportunities at Stag, and finding incremental reserves to extend the life of the field, which has been producing since 1998.
