Joint venture partners Repsol, Horizon Oil and Osaka Gas are facing the possible termination of the development and pipeline licences applying to the Stanley gas and condensate field in Papua New Guinea.

In March this year, the co-owners received an initial notification from PNG's Minister for Petroleum & Energy, Fabian Pok, of the ministry's intent to cancel PDL 10 and PL 10 because the joint venture had failed to generate production from the field.
