Norway’s Statoil is keeping a close watch on progress at the South Korean yards working on some of its major contracts in the wake of insufficient preparation and hold-ups that have delayed three of its developments.
During the autumn of 2015, Statoil’s project managers realised that the schedules would not hold for the large Mariner and Aasta Hansteen projects off the UK and Norway, respectivety.
