The scope of the deal has been expanded to also include three of the four Cat D semi-submersible rigs currently under construction at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South Korea.
The two-year deal extends the partnership between Statoil and Altus, previously known as Aker Solutions' Well Intervention Services, until early 2017.
