Statoil said in the papers that the development proposal at Mariner includes 50 wells and 92 sidetracks, comprising 76 production wells, 64 produced water re-injectors, a make-up water well and a waste disposal well.
A further four wells will be drilled separately to develop the nearby Mariner East field.
All will be tied to the production, drilling and quarters platform, linked to a floating storage and offloading unit, with which Statoil is proposing to develop the field.
