Market sources said the operator, which this week farmed out a stake in its acreage to Tullow Oil, has identified a prospect called Cachalote in Area 2 as its preferred target in a possible two-well campaign set to kick off in April 2013.
The Cachalote-1 probe will be drilled in about 700 metres of water, five kilometres from the boundary of Quirimbas National Park.
