The producing discoveries in the area Taft, Polk, North Polk, Harding and John Quincy have all encountered oil pays between 3000 and 6500 feet.
According to the company, there are several amplitude-driven prospects yet to be drilled in the Main Pass block 288 field that extend to the south-west into the Viosca Knoll area. The company has drilled one of a planned four wells this year around the east flank of the salt dome, located in the southern portion of block 288.
