Venture Global has signed a deal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners for a $1.3 billion equity investment in its Calcasieu Pass liquefied natural gas export facility in the US state of Louisiana.
The 10 million tonnes per annum Calcasieu Pass already received all necessary permits, including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc) authorisation and non-free trade agreement (FTA) export authorisation from the US Department of Energy.
