Strike Energy has uncovered promising signs of hydrocarbons at its closely watched West Erregulla-2 exploration well in Western Australia’s onshore Perth basin.
Strike revealed late last week the exploration well had hit hydrocarbons, with good shows in the Lesueur Sandstone and Woodada Siltstone formations, with both formations exhibiting fair to good visual porosity, flourescence in the cuttings and good elevated mud gas readings.
