The Danish pupils ( pictured right ) pitted their wits against sides from the Faroe Islands, Norway, Greenland and Scotland at OILSIM, an online competition sponsored by the US oil company and Maersk Oil.
OILSIM is a learning simulation tool that aims to provide an understanding of petroleum exploration. Each team plays as an oil and gas company entering a new petroleum province and the challenge is to maximise the return on investment by finding oil or gas, and investing in other teams' opportunities.
