In September, Subsea 7 plans to send a reel-lay vessel to its newest spoolbase yard in Port Isabel, Texas, which has been welding the pipe.
The vessel will make three trips to the yard to complete the installation. Subsea 7 will lay 58 kilometres of pipeline to tie-back up to four subsea completions at Droshky to Shell's Bullwinkle fixed platform.
The pipe will cross water depths from 3000 feet at Droshky in Green Canyon Block 244 to 1350 feet at Bullwinkle.
