Subsea 7 pipelay vessel to spool up for Droshky

The vessel will spend most of the following week reeling welded stalks of eight-inch diameter pipe to capacity before departing.

Seven Oceans is expected to make a total of three trips to the spoolbase for pipe during the project. The third and final load-out is expected to occur in early November.

The spoolbase has stuck close to schedule delivering welded pipe, making 80 to 90 welds a day.
