NYK will take up its equity through the purchase of shares from Singapore’s Ezra Holdings and Japan’s Chiyoda.
The companies said that NYK’s involvement would “accelerate the growth of Emas Chiyoda’s capability” as a leading subsea engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning contractor.
NYK president Tadaaki Naito said: “I am delighted that we can offer another range of service in the offshore segment by joining into ECS (Emas Chiyoda).
