US supermajor ExxonMobil and Hibernia Management & Development Company (HMDC), the consortium that operates the Hibernia oilfield off Newfoundland, Canada, are on the hunt for a subsea contractor to provide engineering services.
ExxonMobil and HMDC (in which the supermajor is a lead partner) have started pre-qualifying companies that can supply engineering support in relation to ongoing management, surveillance and oversight of subsea equipment, facility upgrades and improvement opportunities.
