Up to four competitors are set to submit revised bids to Italian operator Eni this month as they battle to land a potential $2 billion contract covering the flowlines and gas export pipelines for phase one of the Mamba mega-gas project in Area 4 off Mozambique.
Industry sources said refreshed technical bids will be filed in November, with the expectation that Eni will likely ask for commercial bids in December.
