After receiving regulatory approval from Canada’s National Energy Board in December the consortium of Imperial Oil, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, Shell and the Aboriginal Pipeline Group (APG) is looking for government incentives.
Speaking at the Arctic Gas Symposium in Calgary last week, APG president Bob Reid said the group was meeting with officials in early March to address its concerns.
According to Reid, the project would contribute more than C$100 billion in gross domestic product benefits.
