The Poundmaker Cree Nation and the Onion Lake Cree Nation filed the suit this week, alleging Indian Oil & Gas Canada (IOGC) breached its fiduciary duty by failing to protect energy resources under reserve lands from being drained by adjacent wells, and for failing to promote and develop the resource.
