The company is close to identifying a land rig for the DR Congo operation and has now decided to buy its own vessel locally for conversion to shoot a 2D seismic programme on Lake Tanganyika. Meanwhile, Surestream confirmed the award in Burundi of Block B, spanning 700 square kilometres across the entire northern portion of the Lake Tanganyika, fighting off competition from Canadian player Terra Seis International.
