Four offshore workers died as a result of abandoning the tropical storm wrecked vessel on September 8.

Attorney Francis Spagnoletti of Houston will represent the plaintiffs, he confirmed to Upstream. The plaintiffs are Ted Derise Jr, Jeremy Parfait, the doomed vessel’s captain, and Steve Myers, the father of Craig Myers. Myers died from exposure in the Gulf of Mexico.

Two contract workers and two crew members from the Trinity II who had been aboard the 94-foot, 185-tonne liftboat died from exposure or drowning at sea after they abandoned the wrecked vessel in Tropical Storm Nate.
