Singapore-based contactor Swiber has emerged as the front-runner for the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) engineering and installation contract for the second phase of Kangean Energy’s Terang Sirasun Batur (TSB-2) gas project on the Kangean production sharing contract off Indonesia.
Sources said that Swiber offered the lowest price bid in the SURF tender, edging ahead of Indonesian competitor Timas Suplindo.
