Swiber's deep-water drilling unit has landed its maiden contract, which will see it drill a number of wells on NuCoastal's Block B5/43 where the independent is developing the Bua Ban and Songkhla fields.
The one-year contract, expected to start in March, carries a 12-month option.
The contract workscope includes supplying the Swiber Jack-up 1 rig and an accommodation barge and providing equipment and personnel.
