The Syncrude oil sands facility in Alberta, Canada is expected to come back online starting in the second half of this month, with ramp-up to full production by mid-September, following a June power outage, writes Caroline Evans.
Operator Suncor said the facility will be brought back online in stages, with one coker producing about 150,000 barrels per day of oil expected back in service later this month.
