A partnership of Canada's Propac and local company Idro built the dew point control and condensate knockout facilities necessary for the $20 million phase 1 development of the field, which was discovered in 2000 and is said to hold reserves of 15.7 trillion cubic feet.
The Propac-Idro facilities allow limited quantities of untreated gas -- which still contains C2, C3, C4 and C5 plus -- to be fed into the IGAT trunkline system for domestic consumption, a source said.
