Talos Energy has had further exploration success at a sidetrack of its Zama-2 appraisal well off Mexico, with early testing flowing close to 8000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
The well logged 873 feet of gross pay, which met expectations for the discovery’s northern extension, with a consistent net to gross ratio of 68% to 73%, according to the operator.
