US independent Talos Energy is set to put out a request to the market for a small pre-front end engineering and concept study for its Zama discovery in the shallow waters off Mexico, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
However, the study will have a limited workscope given that any final development would be worked out in collaboration with state oil company Pemex as part of a unitisation process.
