The remote liquefaction project is still aiming to bring into operation the first of its two 3.8 million tonnes-per-annum trains late next year, said BP Migas chairman Kardaya Warnika.
Construction work at the project is now 70% complete.
Finance deals with a consortium of Chinese banks could be in place by April.
