Malaysia’s Globaltech Formation has submitted its first plan of development (PoD) for the Tanjung Enim coalbed methane project onshore South Sumatra, Indonesia to the republic’s upstream regulator SKK Migas, writes Amanda Battersby.

Globaltech’s Australia-listed subsidiary NuEnergy Gas plans to develop 209 wells over some 33 square kilometres in the north and south of the Tanjung Enim production sharing contract, where it has carried out exploration and pilot production for eight years.
