The probe, which has a prognosed total depth of 1335 metres, is expected to take about four weeks to drill and evaluate. If successful, the plan is to suspend Markisa-1 ahead of testing. Markisa-1 is located 30 kilometres south of Brunei Shell Petroleum’s giant Seria oilfield.
