New Zealand has invited onshore explorers to bid for an available exploration area in the Taranaki basin.
The released area covers 2188 square kilometres, and is the only area in the New Zealand government's delayed 2018 licensing round that is, as expected, restricted to the onshore Taranaki basin.
Work programme bids close on 28 August 2019.
