France's TechnipFMC has landed a contract from India’s Reliance Industries to provide subsea umbilicals for the $3 billion-plus R-series gas development in deep-water Block D6 off India’s east coast.
Industry sources said Reliance awarded the R-series umbilicals package to TechnipFMC early this month, with the contract thought to be valued between $150 million and $200 million.
“The umbilicals package has been awarded to TechnipFMC on 4 August,” a source confirmed.
