The Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM) is set to be the world’s first facility to test capture technologies on an industrial scale, using flue gas both from a gas-fired power plant and a refinery. The five-year testing period will start in about a year.
“Our mission is to make carbon capture better, cheaper and more efficient,” says Managing Director Tore Amundsen at TCM.
