US liquefied natural gas start-up Tellurian is focused on building its own pipeline infrastructure and sourcing feedstock for its planned Driftwood LNG project in Louisiana as producers in the Permian basin are starting to get squeezed by limited takeaway capacity, writes Caroline Evans.
Tellurian chairman Charif Souki said the company's plans to build its own pipelines to service the facility from the Haynesville shale and Permian basin would lead to lower costs.
