Global steel products player Tenaris is set to ramp up tubular product deliveries to US shale players after the opening of a new $1.8 billion seamless pipe facility in Bay City, Texas this week, writes Caroline Evans.
The facility is Tenaris' first seamless steel pipe mill in the US. At full capacity it will have the ability to produce 600,000 tonnes of tubular products per year for the oil and gas industry.
