Brazilian offshore shipping companies have been invited to submit commercial bids on 26 June for the supply of 2500-bhp-rated LHs and 4000-bhp-rated UTs to start operations in November.
Contractors will be allowed to present offers for LHs and UTs for periods of four years, each renewable for another four years.
Petrobras was also due to receive bids this week in a tender to contract 12,000-bhp-rated anchor-handling tug supply vessels, but word is that the oil company may cancel that competition altogether.
