TGS-Nopec Geophysical is preparing to carry out a fresh 6172 square-kilometre multi-client seismic survey in the US Gulf of Mexico.
The Norwegian seismic player will shoot the Alonso 3D survey in the Atwater Valley and Lloyd Ridge areas. It will extend from the Mississippi Canyon area into “a more frontier area that is experiencing renewed interest from E&P companies,” TGS said.
