Apico’s Sinphuhorm East-1ST appraisal well in onshore concession L15/43 tested at a surface constrained rate of more than 50 million cubic feet per day of gas from the Permian-aged Pha Nok Khao (PNK) reservoir.
The flow rate is commercial and among the best production rates achieved in the field, said Salamander.
The field currently produces around 110 MMcfd of gas from the same formation, according to Apico participant Coastal Energy.
