The 105 foot-tall National T-20 rig is set to be renamed The Big Yin, the comedian's nickname.
The unit was due to be erected this week in the Scottish oil capital Aberdeen by drilling and engineering specialist Frank's International, which will use it to provide onshore training to oil workers.
