Chevron has started production from the third of three liquefaction trains at its US$54 billion Gorgon liquefied natural gas project in Australia, while temporarily suspending production from Train 2.
Each of the three Gorgon trains has the capacity to produce 5.2 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas.
The first train started production on 9 March 2016, and the second train in October 2016.
