Up to three contractors have emerged as frontrunners to land at least $6 billion worth of onshore orders related to Saudi Aramco’s huge Marjan incremental development project, writes Nishant Ugal.
Multiple industry sources told Upstream that Aramco has opened commercial offers for five big onshore packages and is set to award the contracts within weeks.
The quintet of packages up for grabs — packages 6, 9, 10, 11 and 12 — together make up the oil and gas surface facilities that underpin this Marjan project.
