Three world-class contractor groups have been shortlisted by US independent Hess to progress to the next development stage of the Equus deep-water gas project off Western Australia.
Six groups of contractors had been on tenterhooks since last October as Hess set about choosing its preferred bidders to eventually contest for the engineering procurement and construction contract of a giant semi-submersible production platform.
