BP has given the green light to a fresh phase of expansion in the southern part of its Thunder Horse field in the deep-water US Gulf of Mexico.
The UK supermajor has awarded TechnipFMC the integrated subsea engineering, procurement, construction and installation deal for the project.
UK-based TechnipFMC will manufacture, deliver and install subsea equipment, including subsea tree systems, manifolds, flowlines, umbilicals and subsea tree jumpers, pipeline end terminations, subsea distribution and topsides control equipment.
