SHELL is in the process of bringing on stream new output from recently drilled wells close to its high-pressure, high-temperature Shearwater hub, writes Rob Watts.
It is also looking into the possibility of future tie-backs across the facilities, including its operated Fram and Jackdaw fields, as well as third-party business,
“Shearwater is a very important hub for us,” said Shell UK & Ireland vice president Steve Phimister, adding unit operating costs are below $10 per barrel.
