BP has not given up on its ultra-high temperature, high-pressure Tigris development in the US Gulf but is still working out its next move on the project, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
The UK giant is still on its own at the discoveries making up the development, including Gila and Guadalupe, after fellow supermajor Chevron opted to sell out of the project earlier this year, Starlee Sykes, BP’s regional president for the Gulf of Mexico and Canada, said on the sidelines of an industry event last week.
