Timas, led by president director Sulianto Entong, has been identified as the frontrunner — in a joint bid with Subsea 7 — for the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines contract on Chevron’s multi-billion-dollar Gendalo Gehem gas development off Indonesia.
The final outcome of the Gendalo-Gehem Surf tender is still subject to clarification, but the commercial bid from Timas and Subsea 7 beat the next lowest offer by $300 million.
