A CONSORTIUM of London-based TechnipFMC, JGC of Japan and Samsung Heavy Industries of South Korea has been awarded a contract to build a 3.4 million tonnes per annum floating liquefied natural gas vessel for Eni’s $7 billion Coral South project off Mozambique.

Upstream tipped the TJS consortium to land this prestigious engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning contract back in November 2015, since when it has been in talks with Eni to fine-tune specifications and bring down costs.
